Luau Benefits For Pete’s Sake, the Peter N. Eiermann Memorial Fund
SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Santa Rosa rugby supporters invite the community for an evening of authentic Polynesian food, music and dance, Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 3 to 8 pm, the annual fundraiser of For Pete’s Sake, supporting youth rugby in the north bay.
For Pete’s Sake (http://www.playfps.org) is a non-profit organization that built a natural grass rugby field in memory of Santa Rosa rugby legend Peter N. Eiermann (1946 – 1997). Eiermann himself was known for giving back to the community. Proceeds go to upkeep and maintenance of North Bay’s only purpose-built, natural grass rugby venue.
“This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities,” said a club spokesperson. “If you have never had the opportunity to have a genuine luau with Polynesian rugby players, this is it! Great food, great fun, and please no excessive dancing!”
The Luau is particularly blessed with the music and dance of the famed Taimalietane Islands of Polynesia, a Polynesian dance company based in Santa Rosa.
The menu consists of: Roast Pig, Authentic Pacific Island Cuisine; Islander Appetizers, Traditional Sides, Salad; Authentic Islander Entertainment, Music, Dancing; Beer & Wine available, 2 for $5, Free Water/Soda; Dress Native Pacific or Tacky Tourist for a Free Drink Ticket.
The Luau is Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 3 to 8 PM at 3850 Llano Road, Santa Rosa, CA (Just South of Todd Road Intersection). Adults $20, Kids 12 and Under Free. Purchase Additional Tickets from your local Rugger.
